Modern Trade Independent Channel Manager (MTI-M)
(Senior Level)
General Responsibilities :
The position reports to the Head GT. The role is responsible for maximising Kimberly-Clark’s Consumer Sales business in Modern Trade Independet (MTI) customers by developing and executing effective customer business plans, providing and maintaining excellent customer relationship management; Manages the allocated Trade Fund to generate the desired profitable sales mix; Proactively drive Category Management disciplines and solutions with assigned customers. Implement shopper research outcomes/activities with customers; Initiate, develop, implement and evaluate account-specific promotion strategies and activities with assigned customers according to annual sales, marketing and category plans; Input on, implement and enforce Merchandising Guidelines including target plan-o-gram for responsible customers; Recommend and negotiate appropriate Customer Trading Terms and provide input for Global & Regional Customers’ trading issues; Implement Customer Business Plan. Develop and maintain customer profiles. Develop customer business planning and review presentation; Manage company’s relationship with assigned customers with an emphasis on developing new business opportunities. Establish strategic, cross-functional relationships and regular dialogue with key stakeholders; Be seen both externally and internally as the primary point of contact for assigned customers across all business communication issues. Ensure the customer receives the right level of communication to optimise business activities; Implement trade pricing strategy, monitor competitive price actions plan and recommend changes as appropriate; Inform all key stakeholders on trade and competitive intelligence and provide recommendations as they apply to assigned customers.
Ideal candidates should fulfill the following requirement :
- A minimum of Bachelor degree from any field, master degree is preferred.
- Minimum 7 years in experience in FMCG environment - Modern Trade Management, 3 years as Regional Sales Manager and or National
Key Account Manager, with solid knowledge on consumers and distributions on specific areas of responsibility.
- Must have strong analytical, leadership, communication and interpersonal skills and communicate with enthusiasm and impact.
- Basic working knowledge of English both written and spoken is a must.
- Solid knowledge of PC based applications (Windows, Words, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
- Result oriented with proven track record
- Strong career motivation with excellent inter personal and communication skills
- Excellent People Management Skills
