PROCUREMENT STAFF

General Requirements :
- Bachelor degree majoring in Mechanical Engineering / Naval Architecture / Marine Engineering / Economy from reputable University with minimum GPA 3.00 (4.00 scale)
- Min. 1 year experience in Procurement
- Male / female between 20 – 26 years old
- Proficiency in English both oral and written
- Good communication skill
- High attention to detail
- Able to work under pressure
- Good negotiation skill is an advantage

Job Responsibilities :
- Receives and processes requisition for quotation from vessels to order spare part, lubricant oil, and maintenance or repair
- Prepare request for quotation from vendors or source new vendors
- Negotiate terms (price, quantity, delivery date)
- To get approval from technical manager
- Prepares and submit purchase order to vendor
- Serves as liaison between Technical Department, vessels and vendor on issues regarding delivery, quality, incomplete, and or damaged shipment
- Keep record of purchase order, price and quality of major vendors
